Buyer Comment

We registered as prospective buyers with three different estate agents. Jan Forster Estates immediately understood exactly what we were looking for and we viewed two ideal houses with them within seven days. We bought the second house and moved in eleven weeks after our first viewing of it. We were able to view the house before the full details were even on the website. Jan Forster Estates were always extremely polite, helpful and efficient. We have recommended them to all of our friends!

We employed Jan Forster Estates having first used four to five other estate agents who had each hit the disappointing scale in various ways. From the outset we received a regular number of viewers (which didn't happen with other estate agents) and we received excellent feedback from Jan Forster Estates which we were able to address with the newer viewers. This feedback was very instrumental in being able to eventually sell our house. Jan Forster Estates also provided excellent advice on solicitors, surveyors, and financial advice in relation to mortgage arrangements. Our only regret is that we wish we had used Jan Forster Estates first time around.

I have three properties all managed on my behalf by Jan Forster Estates. Gill has been my Lettings Advisor for over 2 years and does a superb job finding tenants and making all the arrangements to ensure that both the tenant and the property landlord / owner are satisfied during the tenancy period. Her knowledge in knowing how to handle any breakdown and repair problems and suggesting cost effective way of how to have these attended to quickly is very valuable to any landlord / owner. Gill's administrative skills are also good, keeping on top of matters relating to contract letting renewal, property inspection reports etc.
Given my experience how she has handled all matters relating to the three properties Jan Forster Estates manage on my behalf I would certainly recommend Gill as a reliable and very conscientious person well suited to her responsibility as the Lettings Advisor.
