Home Information Packs (HIPs)

HIPs were introduced to provide buyers with key information about a property thus helping to reduce delays and expense to both the buyer and seller. A HIP is a legal requirement and must be provided by the seller or the seller's agent before marketing a property for sale.

Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) must now be provided by law whenever a property is being sold or let. The EPC provides an energy efficiency rating for a home and gives information on how to make your home more energy efficient and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
